OBD is onboard data yer ecu the numbers tell you what years and makes are compatible a car.So say yours OBD I you can't just plug in a OBD II ecu.

OBD stands for OnBoard Diagnostics.

NON-OBD/OBD0 was found in Hondas 91 and older
OBD1 was from 92-95 (5th gen)
OBD2 was 96+
