Windshield wiper arm

The arm on my 92' windshield wiper is broken. I went to an auto parts store and they said they didn't make them anymore.

If I get one from a junk yard, is it easy enough to replace myself? I figure a auto garage won't put on a used part, but it looks like it only needs a couple of screws to replace.

Anyone know about this or had to do it themselves? Or know of somewhere to get this part new?

Thanks!

Re: Windshield wiper arm

Arms are readily available from Mazda dealers.Pull cover off the bolt holding arm to wiper motor shaft.Unscrew the bolt.Pull wiper arm up away from windshield.GENTLY move the base of the wiper arm away from the shaft. The shaft has splines so do not twist the arm, u will strip it.Pull straight up. Ti install, just reverse the procedure.Again be careful putting the base of the arm on the shaft.Remember,it has splines.Tighten nut, replace cover and u r good to go. BJ
