@2.0 it's not z3m or mz3 it's simply the m roadster.

Re: Bmw MZ3 and Mini Cooper

I thought both were correct. Z3 is only one of the different cars in the BMW M roadster lineup. There used to be the Z8 M roadster, and there is now the new Z4 M roadster, AKA Z4M. So I thought it's okay to call it Z3M, or simply M roadster....just my

Re: Bmw MZ3 and Mini Cooper

It’s simple the Motorsport badge explains all as it just says just ///M that is what it is just an M. The Coupe and Roadster just get tacked on to the end to distinguish the two styles. Kind of like how some people call the E36 M3 sedan a M3/4.

Nice pics

I agree....and the Z3 and Z4 in front are used to distinguish the difference among the various 'M roadsters' kind of like how the M5 sedan is called M5 for short and the M6 coupe is just M6, instead of M sedan or M coupe.

M3 sedan? I've always thought M3 is just a coupe and you just call it M3...

Wow so there really are M3 sedans!!! Come to think of it now I remember I probably had seen a few of those on the road, but I was thinking then that they just slapped on a M3 badge on their normal 3 series (I've seen people who do things like that on other cars). Well.....I guess I was wrong, BTW thanks for the info and pics!

Re: Bmw MZ3 and Mini Cooper

Sure no problem. Suprizingly there isn't much differnece performance wise between the coupe and sedan.

If that's the case I'd get the sedan over the coupe if i were to get one!
