1991 turnsignal switch problem
I have a 1991 old cutlas supreme SL where you have to hold the turn signal lever in the up position tin order to get the right signals to light and blink. If one simply move the lever to right signal postion it moves and stays there as it normally should nad returns to center after the turn except that most of the time the right turn signals won't turn on. But holding the lever past that position will cause the right signal lights to light and blink.
Berfore I take the darned steering column apart to see what has failed has anybody experienced this failure and repaired it. If so, I prefer to purchase the repalcenet parts ahead of time so that I don't have to take the steering column apart twice. Thanks, Dave |
