2004 Alero- Roaring as it shifts gears
I have 2004 Alero and as it picks up speed down the road you begin to hear a roaring sound that gets louder as you pick up speed and the transmission shifts. At first thought it might be a bad bearing on front wheel and had that replaced and so i'm know thinking it is in the tramsmision.
Anyone have any ideas? Thanks |

Re: 2004 Alero- Roaring as it shifts gears
What model and engine size?
Can you further define the sound? Does it sound more like an airplane type sound? Does it change pitch from low speed to higher or disappear? Did you replace both hubs/bearings or just one? Hopefully it is not the tranny.
