I am planning on finding a 5th Gen from a junkyard somewhere here in town and i was wondering whats a good deal and whats a not so good of a deal. Like what would be the most to pay on a Ex?? I am only looking for an EX, and i am needing some price ranges...

You are going to get one from a junk yard??? Why??? Do you mean a car dealer?? You arent planning on buying a wrecked one are you? I dont think thats a good idea... Its not a bad idea if you want it for parts but I wouldnt try to make it into an every day driver. You can pick one up for about 2500 - 10000 from a Car dealer.. Depending on the model and mileage, etc...

Well, I disagree. Here is what mine currently looks like.

I didnt buy mine from a Junkyard however. I purchased it from a private seller. I would not recommend getting a wrecked one, if you are not knowledgable in body repair etc. If you are just getting a wrecked one to save money on the purchase, then taking it to a body shop. Dont! You will be paying more money in the end.

I wasnt going to get a wrecked one. I was going to see how much i could get one that someone had just dropped off or somthing of that nature. I am straying away from that idea right now anyways....I think i am going to have to find a used car dealership and see what i can get one for.

Also I was reading an import magazine earlier today and i saw a 95 civic HB and it said that it "turned out an impressive 109 MPH." Is that really impressive for a Civic?? I hope that speed doesnt reflect the Civic coupe EX. With out moding or bolt ons, what is the top speed of a 95 Civic Coupe EX?? And then what is the top speed of the same car with add ons??

Thanks

Im guessing that was in the 1/4 mile.. That isnt bad for a 1/4 mile time.. Its not great.. But that depends on what was done to it..

Top Speed stock - My friends stock 95 LX used to shutdown at about 118-120 mph..

That was because it had a cut off on it.. You could do much faster then that if it didnt cut off..
