Finished: Nissan Skyline R32

Yes, anooooother Skyline on AF... not very original here, but too much original for me... I never thought I'd build one, but I found a very cheap one on a hobby show, and so I bought it. At least, a Tamiya kit for just 6 euros is a good reason to buy it...

Out of box, no brain complications, just painted it and built it. Custom mixed color and clear coated with Dupont lacquer.

The interior was fully painted with airbrush, lights and shadows on the seats and dashboard.

The engine and chasis was painted with acrylics and metalizers, and dry-brushed and/or washed. And a PE grill was added instead the solid plastic part from the kit.

Here are the pics, but here are some more.

nice build!

add a bit dark tint and takeshi nakazato from initial D would like to borrow your kit as a stand-in for his ride.

Wonderful! Great body finish and... awesome seats: I love when I see some artistic approach to modelling!

Re: Finished: Nissan Skyline R32

I've got the axia kit in my collection, would anyone suggest converting it to a factory stock kit? I could have a little problem rebuilding the interiors though, im thinking real foam seats and carpet.

Very nice build by the way, i love the weathering on the exhaust! good one!
