98 Silhouette dash light/running lights intermittent

98 Olds Silhoutte belonging to a friend recently started having intermittent dashlight/running light failures. DRL's, headlights and brake lights work OK. Friend got pulled over recently for having no tailights. Fuses checked and appears to be OK. Not having any experience with these new-fangled automatic headlights, I'm wondering if anyone knows of any TSB's or simple "replace the so-and-so relay (or switch or module)" fixes for this sort of issue.

I am having the exact same problem. I was wondering if you have fixed this problem and if so what was it . Im not sure I want to pay some repair place to fish around and charge me an arm and a leg.

Thanks
