Exclamation has anyone ever replaced a fuel gauge?

in a 1998 or similar year chevy truck with the analog gauges. I know how to pull out the gauge pack. i need some info on how to replace the actual fuel gauge behind the needle. is it even possible?

You have to send the guage pod to an authorized gm repair facility. They are sealed.
