89 Olds 88 - how to charge a/c???
I bought a retrofit kit so I can charge the a/c in my car, but don't know which connection I connect the refrigerent to? There is a connection on the tank and there is a connection along one of the tubes. I don't want to hook up to the wrong one.
I know I'm using all the wrong terminology and I appoligize. |

What retrofit, r12 to 134a, if so you must evacuate the system ( legally if r12 is present) and see if the system holds a vacuum. Those " Walmart kits" will not properly convert these sytems, at best you may get some cooling before the system fails or the 134 finds leaks in an old system. BTW, welcome to AF.
