engine swap info???
i've been reaserching engines to do a swap in my 92 mx3 gs, and i was wondering what are all the possibe swap matches for my car. thank you for your time.......

2.5L K-series V6 from the 626/MX-6/Probe seems like the perennial favorite. GS is the one with the wee little 1.8L V6 in it right? If so that's a fairly straitforward swap as the engines share a block. 4-banger MX-3s have a lot of B-series motor options with the B6T from the 323 GTX rally cars being the holy grail as it were. Although I've heard rumors of BPTs from Mazdaspeed Miatas being put in.
Mazda tested the pre-production Presso/MX-3 with a couple of FWD modified rotaries, a 13b and a 15f (trip rotor!), so a 13A from a FWD RX-4/Luce might work if you can find one. That, and pretty much any other swap but the K-series or B-series motors, would run you a pretty penny in fabrication costs though. |

thank you for your imput. yes the gs is the one with the worlds smallest v6, the 1.8L, i've been trying to locate the j-spec klze but there hard to find!!! well i'll keep in mind with what you have to say.
