Question gst air filter and adapter on a 2.4l 4g64

will a gst air filter and adapter fit on my spyder without having to move the fuse box? anyone done it before

Doubt it, but don't take my word for it. I've just never heard of anyone doing that.

i read in a 4g64 faq that it works because the engines have the same MAF but i seen a picture of someone with it and they had a huge filter on it and it didn't fit in without having to unbolt the fuses box, im thinking maybe a smaller filter will fit in there

Yeah it will work. I done the same thing with a K&N FIPK made for the gst/gsx. I didn't really move the fuse box, I just took it off the mounting bracket. You only really need to actually relocate the fuse box if you are turboing the car. But I doubt you are. So this is what I did: I just took off the old airbox and, bolted the adapter to the mass and bolted the filter on, then I just fabbed up some brackets to hold the new filter up. Heres a pic if it helps.
