Exclamation 306 Water in passenger door???

hi every1

i resently bought a peugeot 306, 1.4 vivant.

The car has been ok but after it had been raining i noticed the passenger side floor was slighty damp, after a closer inspection i saw water was overflowing from the rubber seal at the bottom of the door!!!

so i squeezed that out so i wondered if anyone knew where this water is coming form and how to stop it, i lifted the bonnet and found some leaves in the drainage thing (top right and left of bonnet) but i dont know if it that causing the problem

I hope someone can help me beacuse the longer it is left the worse it will get!!!

Thanks a lot

best way to check for leaks is to use a high pressure hose like a jet wash and spray at the car, put newspaper or tissue down in the car and look for where it leaks, spray the door rubber sills and around the outside of the windscreen etc.

Re: 306 Water in passenger door???

check you havn't got the door full up with broken glass, mine and my mates had that problem, and it turned out to be glass and grime blocking the holes at the bottom of the door. poke something long up the holes as on my car, the block was higher than i could see through the holes.
