any gains?
Thinking of getting upper I/C pipes, 14b, downpipe with test pipe. Any gains or just don't bother and get bigger turbo? I have stock t-25 and not much mods.

Re: any gains?
Yeah you'll see some gains for sure. Probably pretty decent ones too.

Re: any gains?
14b's have hit 12s
One person that stands out in my mind is "Arctic TSI". Search that in google for the video. Even though it's a 1g, that's still damn good. IIRC, he ran something like a 12.1. I gotta find the video. The 14b can never be compared to a t25, since it is so much better in every way. I almost wish something would happen to my t25 so I have an excuse to upgrade, but at the same time, I have no money lol.

Re: any gains?
Yeah dude, especially if you turn up the boost a bit. I say why stop at a 14b? Small/ big 16g's arent that much and can get you substantially more power than that 14b.
Edit: Fastest 14b in the world hit 10's. It was project Goodwill. Search it here and you will find a link to the home page for the car. Very interesting. |

Re: any gains?
Either the 2g solution from turbochargers.com with the MHI evo3 - http://www.turbochargers.com/store/p...roducts_id=186
Or just the MHI evo3 - http://www.turbochargers.com/store/p...products_id=68

Re: any gains?
Thing is, like all DSMers im low budget and I just want something to make me quicker. My budget as of now is like $500 maybe $700 if i sell my brother's stuff you know? Used 14bs are not that expensive so I have room for D/P and T/P and Upper intercooler. If i were to get 16G then I wouldn't have anything else but the turbo and no supporting mods lol.
