Unhappy 94 LHS stalls

At crusing speed my 94 LHS will drop to 200 rpms, sometimes recovering after a few seconds & other times it stalls. This usually happens within the first 10 miles of a 35 mile commute to work. When I brought it in to the dealer, there were no codes in the computer & of course they couldn't duplicate the problem. This has been occurring quite often for months but seems to be getting worse in the last 2 weeks with stalls happening about 75% of the time. (It used to recover most of the time) Any ideas? I'm about at my whits end.....

Talking A Fix for 94 LHS stalls

I too have had the problem with my 94 LHS stalling. I took it to 2 shops and they could not find the source of the problem either. I did read some info on a message board on the internet concerning this issue and it suggested to change the MAP sensor. That same day, I removed the MAP sensor (a square shaped sensor located on the driver side of the manifold forward of the throttle linkage). Then I sprayed it with some carb cleaner and reinstalled it (note: it must be installed horizontally). After that I drove my car for 2-3 hours hoping it would fail but the problem went away.

Thumbs up 94 LHS stalls - fix

Finally found out what the problem was. It was the Cam Sensor. Replaced & now runs like a charm.
