good B16A2 (99-00si) motor setup
Hey what do all of you think... I have a B16A2 (99-00 Si coupe) Motor in my 1999 Si, and I was thinking about this setup...
1. Jackson Racing Supercharger 2. Jackson Racing Supercharger Boost Upgrade Kit 3. Jackson Racing Hi-Flow Fuel Pump 4. Jackson Racing Oil Cooler 5. DC Sports Cat-Back Exhaust 6. DC Sports Stainless Steel Headers 7. AEM Cold Air Intake 8. K&N Air Filter 9. Skunk2 Racing Stage 2 VTEC Cams 10. Skunk2 Racing Adjustable Cam Gears And maybe later on down the road, add the Forged Valves, Forged Pistons, and Port & Polish Head... Is there anything else that would be good or that I would need for that setup??? And would anybody know the times I might be running with that setup??? Please let me know asap. |

I dont want to spend that much money for a Supercharger, and I heard it only adds power at redline... To do both the JR Supercharger & Upgrade Kit it will only be about $3,300 which is a lot cheaper than the Vortech SuperCharger...

i would start of with a supercharger first, consider this
1 AEM CAI 2 Bypass Valve 3 K&N Air filter 4 Apexi Exhaust 5 Apexi Header 6 AEM Cam gears 7 Pulleys 8 Throttle Body 9 Fuel rail and pressure regulator 10 Cams 11 Remember u also need suspension and better tranny along the way 12 finnaly Supercharger plus all the acessories I did it in that order basically except for the supercharger

Be careful what cams you buy. Many cams are not made for forced induction.

What exactly is Forced Induction... I read that it is basically super charge nitrous... ANd Ive seen cams that are made for Forced Induction cars before...

Nitrous is not forced induction. Superchargers and turbo chargers are the only forms of forced induction.
