props to saturn
i was watching extreme 4x4 on sunday (spike channel) they had an off road rig in the shop showing it of. ussually these rigs have big engines and beefy stuff all over.
this one was different though. it was running a saturn 4 cyl engine. i can't find any links online about it. but it was pretty cool. they did a special transmission that allowed the engine to turn certian wheels as needed. pretty cool.

yes ive seen rock crawlers using saturn LLO motors because of the low end torque and good rev capability. the on i saw used the trans to so they didnt have to run a transfer case. they loved the set up and how stout the engine and trans was to the abuse. they said the engine and trans were one of the only things not to break.

Yeah, i was randomly watching monster truck stuff on tv once and it said that saturn tranny's are one of the most sought after for high abuse applications. Go Saturn!
(also saturnspeed 12, i noticed you've had a ford contour with the Zetec engine *does a cough for us Vtec guys* and lately i've seen this guy where I live tuning an old ford contour and i always laugh at him as i drive by, but now i'm seeing it has an older version of the focus engine??? so what was your est. hp and times if you dont mine me asking?)
