looking at buying a used celica advice?

Hi everyone,

I am in the market for a new to me used car.
I have a family member that owns a 2001 and loves it "espeshally the gas mileage she gets!"

I like the looks and know that there are alot of things you can do to make them ones own. Plus being in the north east having it be front wheel drive is a huge plus.

I am looking at any models from 1993 up and looking to spend upto 7000 so whats the good, bad, and ugly and what should I look out for.

Thanks,

Joe

Well if you buy one(2001+) from the dealer, make sure you get the factory extended warranty.

That factory warranty for me a new small block assembly. So more or less the block and everything else other then the head.

Then, it got me a brand new tranny. They replaced my front struts and motor mounts at the same time. all free for me!

It came to a total if i were to pay for all of it labor and everything = $7600.00
