94 LeBaron GTC won't start (Alarm Set)
I am very new to this and I need help bad. I just purchased a 1994 LeBaron GTC Convertible 3.0 V6 three weeks ago and the other day I drove it to work and went out for lunch and it wouldn't start. Some guys at work tried to jump it and it wouldn't catch and stay running. I replaced the alternator because some dummy told me that would fix it. Now when I try to start it there's nothing except a clicking and blinking red light on the dash that says Alarm Set. I cannot disable it. I tried unlocking the doors with the key and still nothing. I have no power whatsoever, no radio, headlights, nothing. I am a girl and I don't know very much about cars and I can use all the help I can get. Another thing that was happening when it was still running was the headlights and dashboard lights kept turning off at random, only some of the power seat buttons work and the back windows won't roll down. I'm sure that doesn't have anything to do with the alarm problem but I thought I'd mention it anyway. Please somebody help me, I would really appreciate it.

First things first....check your fuses, make sure none are blown. The clicking while starting basicly means your battery is dead. The flashing alarm set means your alarm is going off.
 In order to turn off the alarm on our cars...yeah I have the same one...we have to lock the doors, both of them....then unlock the passenger door using the key. This will deactivate the alarm and hopefully allow your car to charge up and start. As for the rear windows...don't worry too much, it happens to them all. The motors are probably burnt out. If your convertible top still operates, you are lucky. It will probably stop doing so within a year unless somebody has replaced it since it was originally purchased.

I am also having a problem resetting the alarm, the engine will start when alarm light is on, then shut off. every time my battery disconnects the alarm will go off sometimes my key will turn it off .sometimes it will not. Does this have someting to do with a dirty throttle body and can I permanitly turn off alarm. does alarm have a way to deactivate kill switch. my car would stall all the sudden. now it wont start because alarm light is on.
