new found love for my 3kgtsl

So I thought I'd start a thread about how much we all love our cars...OK, so I'm not selling my 3000gt sl anymore because a few days after I put the sale sign on I drove to Acme and parked my dad's nissan sentra se-r. It just wasn't the same as I walked away. After grocery shopping I walked back and looked at the parking lot. This is mushy, but I actually teared, which turned into a full out cry session which lasted until I realized that my car wasn't sold yet. I missed my 3000gt so much. I took it off the market, and now I love her even more than ever. I know this story is cheesey, but I figured everyone on the forum loves their car, so I might as well start an "I love my car" thread so everyone can share their stories.

We kind of had one of these a while back but oh well. When my engine went bad in my car i was either gonna replace the engine or get a different car. So i instantly started looking for "faster" cars. I started telling my friends that always wanted to buy my car (the ones that said that they would buy it even if they had to replace the engine) that i was selling it. I was cleaning it up on a saturday and took a good look at it and it hit me that i was trying to sell one of the sexiest cars IMO. I decided right then that i was gonna put an engine in it. I went to shool the next monday and told all my friends that it was no longer for sale. I have my engine in now and im glad i decided to keep it.

i love my car also only way i would part with it is for a vr4 which im looking to do in the near future unless i can some how keep the sl and still get the vr4 hmmmm?..only problem with my car is that the valve seals are worn and i burn oil at times which will get replaced as soon as i pay for my lasik procedure but aside from that its a gravy baby.. i plan on modifing it a little incase i do part with it i can get a little more for it then look for a vr4..and i agree with torched that the 3kgt is one of the sexiest cars out there, ive actually had a few people ask if i was lying when i told them my car was a '95..
