Intricate Knowlege of 16g needed

Does any know the diameter of the oil line inlet on the 16g turbo...
Cause I bought the install (2g for 16g) kit from EX PSI and it came with a banjo joint (oil inlet to fuel line) that I'm 99% is not made for my turbo. The first give away was that it was too big to even fit in the inlet and the second was that even If It did fit it would never be able to tighten because it is too long and hits as you would tighten. The beveled side does fit into the provided oil line but I would expect that is standardized. I have noticed that they sell what they call AN -4 bolts double male (in the turbo accesories section) for 8 bucks which is what I think I need (now that the banjo joint they provided won't fit) but before I ordered I just wanted to ensure that when I call to order they have the right size (As well as me).

Re: Intricate Knowlege of 16g needed

call them, I doubt there was a mistake as that kit comes with a shitload of fittings, but they will tell you what you need to do. If they did make a mistake I'm sure they will ship it ASAP

Re: Intricate Knowlege of 16g needed

Many fittings, but to each its own task, So I don't see how it would affect them putting one wrong banjo bolt in amongst 40 other trinkets.
Everything else is good... So I'm not saying its the wrong KIT just one wrong piece

Re: Intricate Knowlege of 16g needed

he banjo bolt should be M12x1.25 for tdo5 cartridges and 1.50 for tdo6 cartridges.

Thanks kevin! ... Now for someone who knows nothing about how bolts are measured do you think you could elaborate on the M12x1.25 a little bit. just so I can measure my kit bolt and compare.

Re: Intricate Knowlege of 16g needed

M12 is the diameter, 1.25 is the pitch. The stock O2 housing's downpipe studs are also this thread, so if your downpipe nut will thread on you know that's it. If the bolt you have is too big in diameter to fit through the feed line banjo fitting, it's almost certainly a coolant line banjo bolt.

Re: Intricate Knowlege of 16g needed

That helps a ton. And yes thats the size of the inlet on my turbo.
However, there is no place that that banjo bolt will go on my turbo it isn't for the water line either. It is misplaced IF I knew how to load on pictures I would show you.

Re: Intricate Knowlege of 16g needed

As a point of interest this would be a sufficient replacement correct?

Re: Intricate Knowlege of 16g needed

The list the 14b, 16g, and 20g as using the same bolt, so I already do not trust them on this topic Call them up and get it sorted out.
