So, here's the news....

I figured in the next few days people would be asking what it is that I purchased. So, I decided to make this thread and tell all. I've already took notice that several of you are already interested, so I'll spill the beans. Read on...

Last weekend I took a flight to Illinois to purchase my car. Last time I stopped through, I met up with a buddy of mine. Had some fun, and I got to ride in his car. Several months later, he and I talked and he mentioned that he would be selling his car. My interest was peaked when I heard this. So, without hesitation I jumped on the offer to purchase his car.

Although, purchasing the car would be my greatest challenge as of yet. I had the money. But getting down there was the hardest part. Although, my friend was very patient. I couldn't imagine how much stress he was going through, but I thank him greatly for being so patient. To me, it was a well deserved wait, but it was worth the trip and I had a blast.

You all know our Moderator Josh of course. Being in Illinois with him was the funnest time I've had in a long time. Showed me the campus life, the hot girls all around, and we drank ourselves shitless on few occassions. All in all, I'm very pleased with my purchase of Joshy's old Eclipse. It's here with me on the res now, and it's getting plenty of attention as it stand.

So that's it. My car; a 1996 Mitsu Eclipse Spyder (GST). The plans for the future? Well, that shouldn't be any question at all as to what I plan on doing. 16G and supporting mods, front end conversion, Halo projector headlights (black), new wheels and tires, some front suspension work, and some interior design. All in all, I will keep you guys posted on the updates and how things are coming along. Thank you again Josh, and enjoy your present that I bought for you as well!!

Re: So, here's the news....

I'm glad you're enjoying and i'm glad to see the car go to a good owner, it was a good time while you were down here to, and scary at one point..but hey when you drink that kinda stuff happens sometimes..haha

Anyway i've already had one of my presents and i gotta say it was an hour of ecstacy, Ashton cigars rock!

Good luck with the car and everything should be there for it shortly.

Re: So, here's the news....

Congrats on the car, should be a decent project.

Was this the black one Josh had in his sig for awhile? What are you driving now Josh, I didn't even know you were contemplating selling it.

Your 1996 Mitsubishi 3000GT VR-4 is the 92nd out of the 315 that were made that year. Only 21 of which are exactly identical.

Re: So, here's the news....

Congrats on the new car. Cant go wrong with a Mitsubishi.

Musashi, you should put that disclaimer on your sig for a few weeks. That way if anyone accuses you of being upset you can just throw the disclaimer at them and then give em' a big old .
