Help with suspension?
Hey guys, i was looking up on Tokico blues... i read that they are very comfortable and ride smooth. I have some cheap coilovers on my sol right now and really dont like them. They are not comfortable at all, and when i go over bumps it feels like the whole car is going over a curb... not matter how slow i go over bumps its still the same thing... so i was looking up on Tokico blue shocks. Here the links.
Tokico Blue Shocks: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/TOKIC...spagenameZWDVW Adjustable Coilovers: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/93-97...63142607QQrdZ1 Do you guys think that its going to be a smooth ride if i combine those together? or should i buy different coilovers or springs? if not what should i combine them with? i want them to be adjustable. Any help whould me more than appreiciated. Thanks! |

Re: Help with suspension?
save your money for Teins or Omnis. Period. End.
With the Tein or Omni coilover suspension, it seems like you're paying a LOT, but you get basically an entire suspension setup... seriously... springs, shocks, struts.. all in one package. Teins are the top model thus far (I have Tein SS coilovers on my Sol and they are AMAZING).. Omnipower is a close 2nd though, and a bit cheaper. Just be sure to get the Omnis with the thicker collar if you get them... a couple of cars bit the dust with the thinner collars.. but the thick ones are standard now. |

Re: Help with suspension?
I just recently put Tein Htech NON adjustable springs matched with Tokico Blues on my Integra. I love them so far! I wanted to lower the car a little but didnt want the horrible ride to go with it. Def a thumbs up.

Re: Help with suspension?
If you need adjustable ride height and plan on using it for the right reasons save money and buy the good stuff - Ground Control for sleeves with Koni Yellows or stick with true coilovers such as Tein or other quality brands. Personaly for street use adjustable ride height is overkill, if you plan on using them right. IMO stick with normal lowering springs and good struts - H&R springs.
