Re: Ferrari F430 Challenge

Here's the Challenge F430

Nothing really special about it from the Option parts 430 that Fujimi brought out, looks like the interior will be the real difference in the kits, the Challenge car should have a full race interior

Re: Ferrari F430 Challenge

I don't really care too much about the interior, because it's less visible and can be easily fabricated with styrene rods. But if Fujimi cut corners and put the 5 lug-nut wheels and call it the Challenge, I'll be really mad, because they look nothing like the center-lock Challenge wheels. Traditionally Fujimi doesn't care about those things, so let's see if the company really changed.

Re: Ferrari F430 Challenge

I wonder if they made a new decal sheet for the Spec C and WR limited too. I don't recall the Nurburgring decal or swish being on the STI/WRX decal sheet. Good luck to all and hope Fujimi comes through with their new way of things

Re: Ferrari F430 Challenge

No word on it yet but highly likely is some PE parts like the Gallardo. But, why not buy the one from Crazy Modeler?

Post Re: Ferrari F430 Challenge

The Crazy Modeler PE set for the F430 does have some parts for a Challenge option. Haven't double checked if they would all be there. I guess if not, you add in MSM Creations 360 Challenge transkit as well to get closer.

Re: Ferrari F430 Challenge

Looks like Fujimi did it again (in a positive sense). With a price increase of only 210 yen, you'll get these parts.

The interior sprue is very different (door panels, floor pan , dashboard etc.) The wheel sprue seems brand-new, and there are two extra sprues for the rollbars etc. and the seats, steering wheels.

This is going to be a great kit. Man, we should hold a F430 Challenge group-build or something.

Re: Ferrari F430 Challenge

Wow, Fujimi is on a roll! Much improved kits, great subjects, and reasonable prices. Maybe they hired former Tamiya employees.

Its a shame about Tamiya. I'm tired of reissues...I already have them and don't need more.
