Air Intakes

Ok. S10-Blazer 93 4x4 Vortec CPI 4.3L v6....... Does any aftermarket companys even make a Cold air intake system for this truck? or do they all only sell filters? and if they only sell filters can someone explain why? so far Im 0/4 searching for one. Im starting to think they posibly just decided the original setup was fine for a cold intake? just my hunch on it .. anyone!!

also I asked this in another post so dont kill me but what are ppls recomendations on air intake systems.

ebay sells them for ur truck for like under 40 bucks. just replace the filter they give u with a k&n cone filter and ur good to go. heres an example that comes with a k&n filter;

Or u can just get a drop in filter for the factory box. either way, it will cost about the same.

I have a K&N Cold Air and it works great.

IMO get the ebay. It isn't worth shelling out that much after doing it. If you can fabricate a heat shield out of some type of material you will save yourself a ton of $$$.
