Centerforce II
I just ordered Centerforce's stage 2 clutch to replace my ACT Stage 1.
How would you rate the centerforce stage 2? And is it a good choice for a 94 eg hatch/B-16 a2 swap with 202hp and 146ft.lb.? |

Re: Centerforce II
that clucth will be fine. as far as only boosting 5 psi on the jrsc, the stock puleys on the jrsc pushes you to 6psi. your piping sizes from the collector back is?

Re: Centerforce II
Well, I had one on my last GTC when I was running 14 PSI. It was alright for the first week, good solid engagement. However, after a week it was no better than my stock clutch which was fine except I paid extra for it. I wouldn't buy another Centerforce. The new GTC will most likely get an ACT clutch.

Re: Centerforce II
I have heard a lot of bad things about centerforce clutches, from domestics and imports. I also heard act, clutch net, clutch masters are good for mild modded cars. I don't know if its true, but I was told that all those clutches are just modified stock clutches.
