96 wagon subframe/crossmember help
I'm trying to remove my crossmember that the lower control arm is bolted to. I have taken out the bolts for the lower control arm and the one next to those for the crossmember itself. I also removed the nut above the top of the control arm/swaybar endlink.
Is there any other nuts/bolts I missed? It doesn't seem to want to come down now that I have these bolts and nuts removed. Is it hooked into something on the body?

Re: 96 wagon subframe/crossmember help
On the mid-nineties vehicles, manual shifts, one or both of the transmission mounts attaches to the cross-member.

Re: 96 wagon subframe/crossmember help
I got it off...it just took a little bit of pry bar action.
The guide pins had a little rust on them. |
