New Thermostat in 97...
I put a superstat thermostat in but now the car wont get hotter than 130-150 ish? Never seen this happen before? Blessing? Or a Curse?

I would say bad. The car will probably stay in closed loop and not run its most efficent. Means more gas and emmissions.

what temp did you put in? If it's a 180 or 195, the stat is probably stuck wide open. Stant thermostats are basically crap, especially if it's been on the shelf for a while.
