Question Dropzone springs for budget B14?

Mine is a 98 base model on a very limited budget. I bought the el cheapo Bomz coilover kit but the sleeves won't fit over the strut - $40 wasted. I was looking at springs and there are Dropzones out there for significantly cheaper than Eibach etc. Anyone have any experience with these, or other budget springs? TIA

I have no Idea if the springs are lagit or not. However, maybe you're like me. When I see something that seems too good to be true, I have to constantly remind myself that especially in modding our cars, you generally get what you pay for. You can save a few dollars buying the 40$ springs, but in my opinion, I would rather spend a little more money and save a few worries. You know the eibach springs are going to be a good guaranteed part that won't screw you in the long run. Plus it's always cool to shout out some good name brands when people ask you what kinda mods you have done to your car :P . All joking aside, if you reeeeeeeaally wanna get the dropzone springs and leave a little cash leftover in the wallet (and a little bit of uncertainty in your springs ;P), I would to some research on LONG term customer feedback. Like anything else, they could work great for a year and then totally crap out on you due to the lesser quality. Good luck!

Re: Dropzone springs for budget B14?

dropzone = horrible.
just buck up and get some decent ones.
some half decent springs + tokico HP shocks should be like 500 bucks.
thats cheap for a very good suspension.
stock shocks + dropzones will blow your shocks in a month and your springs will lose tension and flake all the paint off, then youll be regretting it when your shitty suspension takes out your balljoints and tie rods, and rattles your brain.

Youll waste more money and time replacing the cheap crap you buy then you would if you just buy a good product the first time. Just do it right the first time so you dont have to do it again.
