Re: any good 6x9's?
in my opinion, sony X-PLODs are not bad,I had 2 6x9s in custom bxes on the rear deck in my Miata and 2 6 inch ones in the doors.they were not the best in the whole wide world, but the worked well and never crackled at high volume. plus I got the 6x9s on Amazon.com for like $45

Re: any good 6x9's?
Anything sony xplod is junk and almost everyone on here will agree with that. If you want good 6x9's look into some pioneer premier's 3 way they range from about 70 bucks to about 130 bucks and will probably be lower especially if you get them off ebay and they are very reliable.

Re: any good 6x9's?
Type R's sound awesome but they can be somewhat pricey plus they only really sound good if they are amped, look into some Pioneer's they are a reasonable price and make pretty good sound for the price.

Re: any good 6x9's?
^no, Type R's would destroy a damn pioneer, all speakers sound like shit unless you have an amp. You can get a 50x4 rms amp for about 75-125 shipped look into a set of MB Quarts i got them on ebay for 89 shipped on 75 watts those things sounded amazing compared to the set of JBL's i had. The infinity kappa's sound pretty damn nice to, make sure you price an amp with this 4 ch would be the best choice then you can run all the speakers on the amp.

I think Infinity would be good for you. These are for the front right?

Re: any good 6x9's?
Oh. well i was going to say, most of the audio people on this site would recommend a decent set up front, maybe even components(you would need an amp) Then you wouldnt need anything in the back.
