wastegate help

I have a ported s16g and the wastegate vacuum line keeps getting pinched off by my intake causing the mbc to fail. My question is has anyone else had the problem, if so how did you fix it. Second what would I need to max out the 16g as far as supporting mods, I have 550s and soon I'll get a 190. Will that be enough? And i figure the stock head gasket will hold ~20psi with the arps that are in it, is that close?

From what I've been told, ARP's with an oem headgasket will take a good bit of abuse.

Re: wastegate help

Maybe zip tie a pencil or something to it to keep it straight?

Re: wastegate help

well I don't know if its the same way one a b16g, but on a s16g the nipple points straight up() almost directly into the intake tube. Is there any way to actually rotate the actuator so the nipple points another direction?

Actually, that is something I noticed too when I had it... I wondered how the hell it was supposed to avoid the intake. As far as I could tell there was no way to move it. Perhaps you could make some type of silicon 90 bend?

Re: wastegate help

ok, today I found something that should work perfect. I got a hard vacuum line off of an egr valve from a 3100series gm motor and it has a 90* bend on one end
