Buying advice

Hi,

I currently own a 1990 bmw m5. I really love this car but i really feel its time to sell it and find something a little more practical!
I have been looking at the 728i. I would be looking at a 96-97 model with around 100,000 miles.
What kind of problems to these cars have at this kind of millage? I know my m5 has had to have many large components replaced at this kind of millage, but, then again it is 12 years old!

What is the fuel economy on the 728? I assume it considerably better than the 3.6 m5! Also the inspection 1 on the m5 is about £650-700. What kind of price am i looking at for the 728?

Any info would be greatfully recieved,

Many thanks

Paul.
