Adjusting rear brakes, 1984 pickup
Is there a way to adjust the rear brakes on my 1984 2WD longbed pickup. I don't see a hole anywhere to access the adjusters...I know they are supposed to be automatically adjusting but usually there is a way to do it manually.

Re: Adjusting rear brakes, 1984 pickup
Usually everytime you pull the parking brake or drive backwards then press the brake pedal they self adjust. On the 4x4 models you can also manually adjust then from the axle side (not the rim side) by removing the dust cover.

There is a small oval plug on the backing plate that gives you access to the adjustment (star wheel).
