Question Beggining Mechanic who just needs help

I Bought a 96' eclipse for a hundred dollars its a GSX but the down side is that it has no front end (fenders, bumper, hood) the two biggest things tat it is missing is the engine and transmission i plan on fixing the whole thing up to make a street legal racing machine i just need some suggestions on parts i just want to get it running and if it helps probably tomorrow ill post some pics of it just so you can get a look at what i have to work i know itll take me some time but i have the patience and it is my first project car so any suggestions and that'll be greatly appreciated thxs

Have you already found a engine and tranny for it? Check out your local craiglist and the junk yard for the parts you need to get it back together.

2. Set goals other than "street legal racing machine" and we can better help.

Sorry for the punctuation errors and word choice. I just want my car to be able to perform well in racing portions in nopi competions, and still at the same time to be street legal. I dont want to be one of the people that carry thier car around in a trailer i want to be able to show off my car out on the streets.

"Street legal" is pretty relative. Depending on inspections in your area, it can be tricky.

Put a 4g63 motor and an AWD trans back in with STOCK parts. Do the t-belt, fresh fluids, align the car, and drive it for a few weeks. See what you think it is missing, and go from there.

Thank you kindly for your help I will begin my search. Most likely I will a have a pic posted hopefully by friday because the car has not been towed to my house just yet.
