Mmats d2100.2 or .05 ohm model??

Hey whats up guys seeing that i got a snail shell on the way for my 13w7 i was wondering which is the better amp to run it with. the sub can be run at .75 ohms or 3 ohms. I have the Mmats D2100.2 which is a 2 ohm stable amp and was told to run the sub in series and it would be the same ting as running the sub in parallel with the mmats D2100.05. Is this true or should I exchange the amp for the .05 ohm model
