1982 22R vs 1989 22RE

I have a 1989 toyota, extended cab, 4X4 and a 1982 toyota 2 wheel drive... One of the engines is a 22R (1982), the other is a 22RE (1989). I want to put the 1982 22R in the place of the 1989 22RE. I know the difference between the injected and the carburated, but is there anything else I should know. I will us all the electrical and I will use the intake and exhaust from the 89' basicaly I will strip the 22R down and replace with all the 22RE stuff...
Is there anything else I need to know?

If you're thinking of bolting the RE intake and exhaust to the R head, it won't work. Nor can you swap heads. If you had an 85+ 22R it would work, but not on older ones (diff head and block).
