A farewell to Musashi.

Im affraid Ive come to the end of my run with the 3000GT. For those of you who know me you know that I am the biggest Mitsubishi head there is and I love the tripple diamond but like all roads must end so must this journey. Today I sold the 3000GT a.k.a. Musashi to a friend who has had his eye on her ever since we first met. The kid is 19 and respects cars alot. He dosent race (yet) and drives well for his age. He loved my car almost as much as I did so he made me an offer a few months ago for $5,000.00 and I said ok. I bought the car for 6K 3 years ago, put 53 thousand miles on her and now I get 5K back..... I couldnt ressist. Yes there is sentimental value and yes I love that car as if it where alive and loved me back but these things cannot stand in the way of reason. The car was 12 years old, she had over 150K miles, oil pump was acting up and its just time to move on. Im sad, really I am, I miss my Musashi. She taught me so much, how to be a better driver, she was my first AutoX car, my first car i could really be proud of. I masterd the stick in that car! So many memories, so many adventures and so so many victories. My Musashi may not have been a VR-4 model but when ever one of the locals saw me they swallowed hard cause they knew she could pack a punch! I smoked so many people in that car. I killed thousands over the last 3 years and only lost 3 times total. Man that is a champ record right there.
*sigh* I wish I had the money to just tear her down and re-built her to last another 12 years strong!
I know she will be taken care of and he is a good kid that desserves such a beautifull and worthy machine.
I am so lucky to have owned that car! It was the best car I ever had and I am greatfull for the 3 excellent years we shared. Gentelmen, a moment of sillence and reflection, not cause she is dead, but because a part of me has died.

I feel like I am lacking now but I know it had to be done some day and I was ready for it. Better this way then to see her abandoned at some dealer as a trade in or worst. At least this way she will still be loved.
I still plan on keeping my name as "Musashi3000GT" no matter what I drive now and I will still be around here to bother the crap out of all of you. You guys have been like a second family to me.

GTO!

^^^ He's not getting another 3S.

J/k Musashi.

Edit: Since Musashi is leaving the 3S we should roast him before he parts with us and buys his new car.

Oh wow, I don't come to the 3S forums too often, but whenever I do, you're the most distinguishable to me! I loved your kill stories too haha, but all good things do come to an end I guess. Good luck with future goals

Re: A farewell to Musashi.

Wow, I didn't even realize you were considering selling the SL. Sorry to hear about that, but at least it goes to a good home and wasn't wrecked. So now are you going to make the Starion your DD?

Re: A farewell to Musashi.

I should have seen it coming. You haven't been on AF much and haven't heard from you for a long time so I should have known something was up. Damn, sad day... I'm really sorry you had to let her go bro. I know how much you loved her but yeah, I guess when it's time, it's time... As someone before me said, you and Musashi are an asset to AF and the GT family so definitely don't be a stranger. You're always welcomed here, you know that....so you better start hittin' up the OT Thread again. But for now, we must stop for a moment and pay homage to our lost brother....to Musashi...

Oh fuck that sucks I was wondering where you went to. Ah fuck the musashi Its time for a 99 VR-4 yea the Musashi Jnr with some nice mods to get a least 600hp out of her yea they will be scared. I was sad when I got rid of my red (1992 GTO) about a year ago but now that I have my Ralli All of the problems have melted away. There can be nothing else but the 3kgt/GTO who fucken said Z, S2000, SRT 4, EVO you people should be shot!!!!
