97-99 Cav Body Kit
Im getting to the end of my project on my Cavalier, finished the interior with the exception of a few wires to run, finished the mechanical/engine work with the exception of a few adjustments and minor additions.
Ive never installed a body kit before, my previous projects and cars that ive worked on being a 76 Monte Carlo and an 84 Monte SS it was almost all entertainment and mechanical work on those cars. Im thinking about getting the fibre glass R34 Skyline body kit, mostly becouse i dont want to get an extremely common kit (BMX, Drifter etc) but the kit does look pretty bad ass too. Does anyone have any suggestions for a differant kit, ive also fought with the Urethane/Fibre idea but im not sure if Urethane is worth the extra dough or not. Also, should i mount all of it (hood, fenders, bumpers, skirts) and bring it in to get painted or should i just strip the car down and have them mount the parts. I would imagine that both sides need to be painted so they will have to take them off after i mount them causing more labor charge? |
