new silverado owner, whats a nelson tune?

i just got a 01 silverado and just started viewing this message board and i have to know what a nelson tune is! all you guys might think this question is silly but im totally clueless! thank you.

nelson is a guy in texas i beleive that retunes pcms to give you more hp, gas mileage, better shifting, and a better over all running of your truck. i dont know as much in depth as others here so maybe they can chime in or you could search for nelson tune in the forum.

One of the best parts is Allen Nelson does mail order, that is how most people do it. The guy knows his stuff. Hes tuned hundreds if not thousands of PCM's, so you need not worry about anything going wrong. One of the other great benefits is lifetime tunes. If there is something you dont like about the tune, call him up or email him, let him know, he will make an adjustment send out a new one for the cost of shipping. You drop it in, send your old one back and your good to go. Also if you ever change something, add a turbo, headers, exhaust, change tire size, intakes, you name it. Let him know, another PCM is on the way. You will find here on this forum, the guys on here with nelson tunes, will never go any other way. Go ahead get it wake up that silverado, you wont be disappointed
