Lightbulb Buy from Honda?
This might sound kinda stupid or posibly ingenious. I was just woundering if anyone has tried to buy a b16a directly from honda instead of a used one. Don't they have to be able to replace broken ones in the 96 97 del sols, and the civic si's. Will they not sell to public. If anyone has tried how much did they want for this motor or any other motor.

I'm sure they would sell it to you, but be prepaired to spend outrageous amounts of money. I would guess around $10,000, no joke.

yeah i called about a new d16 motor for my 94 ex... and you have to buy the block and head seperate but it was like 5000 for the two put together..... and thats just the d series
