electrical or grounding problems?

1998 chevy Z71, Truck drains battery and generates a "clicking" sound from under the drivers side dash. When truck is not running, ignition is OFF, clicking sound is heard and the battery drains. ????

Re: electrical or grounding problems?

On the inside firewall under the parking brake pedal is the "convenience center". Take the cover off and see if you can hear or feel one of the relays clicking, or if you hear the clicking coming from somewere else. Post back

Re: electrical or grounding problems?

Fuel pump relay. Truck was sitting a long time, battery was weak. Pulled the relay and charged battery, running fine. Thanks for your response.
