Temp guage

the temp guage doesnt work. all the other guages work fine. i know there is a guage fuse, but it controls the whole cluster, so that rules that out. how does one remove the old sensor? (where is it) ty for the help.

Re: Temp guage

My temp sensor is within about six inches of the thermostat I believe. Looks kinda like an 02 sensor in the top of the manifold. Hope that helps.

Re: Temp guage

turns out the gauge worked, it had 100% antifreeze in it and not a broken thermo, but no thermo in it. pair the two up and it wasnt going above 100 degress which is where the gauge starts lol. (bought the truck at auction, didnt flush coolant yet.)
