Showing my RS wheels more love than they deserve.

So I had a Saturday all to myself yesterday and I decided to do something constructive with my time.

Well I got a flat Friday and patched it up, while my wheel was off, I couldn't help but to how damn disgusting the wheel was in the inside were Icouldn't clean it without being off. So today I decided to clean all 4 wheels, then I got an idea. Why not paint em. Enjoy the pics.

And now the finished product. Woo Woo! (I've been told atleast a million times I need a drop, I know already! haha)

By the way, the color is gunmetal and the lip is just the stock silver color.

So watcha think? Besides the obvious truck height.

EDIT: FYI, did anybody know these wheels are made by Enkei? I thought that was kinda cool.

Nope, came close to owning one twice, but I'm still a big enthusiast with them. I've worked on them alot so I'm kinda familiar with the S-Chassis and gotta soft spot for them.

Maybe in the future I'll get one.

Man ur car reminds me of mine (just without the lift kit, mud tires and spoiler...j/p) I miss my car.... :-(

you could always go over THAT coat with some kind of clear coat to make it look a little bit shinny, but It's cool. =P

Yea I did, but as you see it wasn't standing out very much. So after those pics I took them off and bombarded them with clearcoat. Looks more hsiny now.

Not really feelings the color of the rims, but the idea is good.

Same here... Not digging the color. Maybe if it was more shiney, but you said you added more clear coat. IDK. Stock looked good.

Good try tho. Everyone has different tastes.

black center with white lip? Or Chromed lip with that gun metal color. The white with it just doesn't do it for me but those look good. I was looking to do this to my plain gs 16"'s they had been curbed when I got the car.

I don't think the stock 14s are pretty. I meant that the stock color was better IMO.

The lips are the stock silver alloy color and the painted part is alot shinier than the pics show.

I got bored of the stock color, the rear wheels had a bunch of chips in them anyways, plus the paint on the caps where fading off.

Most people I've talked to think it makes the whole appearence alot better.
