All-trac engine install progress
A lot of people have been asking me how the project was going. We are almost ready to drop the engine in. I'm waiting on a timing belt cover and injector insulators and she'll be going in. Here are some pics from tonight.
This is how we started today.. engine still on the stand. We've connected most of the hoses.. only thing we have left to do here is get the fuel rail attached. ![]() TURBO CELICA PARKING ONLY.. hehe. Me and andy's turbo celicas. We finally moved the alltrac over to the garage so we could prep the engine bay. ![]() ![]() Here are a couple pics of another project we've been working on while waiting for parts on the alltrac. This is my friend andy's 91 Celica GT. We put a steel head gasket on and supra injectors. We are using the stock manifold/turbo from my alltrac. She purs like a kitten An intercooler and piping is on the way for it.. then it'll be ready to drive around.![]() ![]() Lots of work to be done. ![]() I thought the enormous tire gap was funny with the engine out. ![]() Me in the engine bay.. C'mon, everyone has a pic standing in their engine bay, right? ![]() The massive transmission + transfer case. It was a pain in the ass to mount to the engine. ![]() Got the engine off the engine stand and on the hoist. Installed my RPS clutch and Fidanza Flywheel. ![]() ![]() After some headaches and bloody knuckles and fingers, we got the engine and tranny mounted together. ![]() ![]() ![]() And we called it a night after touching up a few things in the engine bay. Installed the hood latch hardware and the horn. It's getting close to that time
