What kind of a job am I looking at?
Well after 108,000 miles my 2000 cvpi's dash lights are burning out. For now it's only the volt meter light that is out, but if one goes they all are close. How big of a job is it to replace them? Do you have to pull the whole dash pad and gauge cluster out, or is there and easier way?
Thanks for the help Adam |

As I recall, removing the gauge cluster is not all that bad. But the horizontal trim running accross the dash must come off to get at the screws.

Also do not forget to disconnect the string that goes to the gear indicator. It is hooked to a little piece of metal that soes to the shift lever. It threads into a plastic adjusting nit to adjust the position in the gear indicator. I always take it out of the adjuster and remove the dash. there are 4 screws that hold the dash in place.
