No 4th gear

My car hasn't been able to get into 4th gear when its going fast since the day I bought it. My first race I was doing 120 and it wouldn't go into 4th until I let off and slowed down to about 80mph. It also had the same problem when I was at the track. I does go into 4th when I am just crusing around, any ideas?

Im thinking that your tranny is going out. Also Viper if you want a sig just tell me man, because that simple photoshop pic is bad..

Thanks.. I am just starting to mess around with Corel so obviously they won't be perfect to start out with but thanks for the offer

it might be the clutch also. Try this get it high rpm in first gear and try dumping the clutch in the last gear, if it slips it is bad.

Never hear of Corel.. atleast not anywhere near close to Photoshop.. so id suggest trying to begin working on photoshop..

A 4L60 doesn't have a clutch in the conventional, manual transmission sense.

Wow, you have never heard of Corel, I thought it was almost as big as photoshop. I use Corel daily at work but I never mess with graphics on it so that part is new to me. As my sig is suppose to be like an oil painting that I found that looked exactly like my old Camaro. That and the fact I have like less then 10 pics of my car because #1 my digital camera broke and #2 once its washed it goes back under its car cover.

I believe the tranny does not go into to 4th at above 3/4 to WOT, thus it is perfectly normal. As confirmed by it works fine "cruising"

No I heard about Corel, but like I said its no where near as big as photoshop..
