Faster? LT1 caprice or P71 Crown Vic

was wondering what is faster. a 96 or so caprice with the LT1 police package or 99 or so crown vic with the P71 package

By "faster" do yo mean top speed or "quicker" in the 1/4 mile?

Faster = Caprice

Quicker = '99 CVPI

BTW, the CVPIs WILL actually cover more total ground eventhough at a lower speed because they WILL run at full speed from a completely full fuel tank until it is empty. The Caprice (9C1) will not.

Also, the CVPI has a lower top speed only becuase of the unusually long drive line that it has, and how fast you spin it is limited by how fast it will stay togather.
