Cool racing 350Z'S ?

Came across this model of a 350Z LeMans racing version!
http://users.hoops.ne.jp/kurobom/350z-lm.htm
Is Tamiya coming out with this kit or is this a custom/conversion? I can't tell! Any ideas on the source of this LM version? Man, I wish I hadn't slept through that film on "how to read Japanese"!!
The Japanese Tamiya Page has two Calsonic racing 350Z's that were made by a couple individual modellers. I'm planning on converting a stock 350Z but can't find pictures of the real racing interiors.

Those are cool, but it looks like they're "phantom racers" made from other kits' decals. Neat trick, though... I saw this "Safari Rally Z" at Tamiya/Con this year...

It's a custom/conversion...I don't think any race car would have DVD/auto nav system!!

Good point about the DVD/nav system...but, I've always wondered what drivers actually do during long pit stops!! Some of the latest touring cars do have on-board computers with a plasma/lcd screen to monitor info. (ie: look at the dash of the Opel Astra V8) But yeah, I think you're right 'bout it being a conversion -the mods to the rear fenders and wing look a bit too much like styrene sheets. It still does look cool!:sun:

Phantom racer is another way of enjoying this hobby, and in fact, I'm working on a custom 350Z, too.
(Besides, the real 350Z racer is said to be available for customers next year, just like 911GT2)

The 2002 WRC cars have a common silver box on the roof, and that's a part of the GPS tracking system. I can generate a neat CG trace of each car.

Just when I'm thinking of buying a cheap navi, I realized that DVD/navi is getting obsolete, and Hard Drive navi can do a lot more.

Can you track them whereever they go? Like, could you find out whee each one is now?

Studio 27 stuff...

He could have used the decals (some at least) from these older Z kits...
