But what shall I do with it???

Brought a Hasegawa WRX today but had intended to get a R34, stupid bird at model shop (out of town) said they had one on phone, turns out to be the Penzoil one and muggins here wanted the road version didnt he ! So after a half hour trip i had to come back with something so i got the WRX that i wanted for a while .

Anyway enough ranting, obviously its one that i want to produce a transkit for but there are quite a few cool bodykits for the Imp so i thought i'd ask for your opinions. See what u think of these...

I'm keen on this MOTHER!

TRIAL version

GIALLA version

BOMEX

C-WEST

...and any other suggestions are welcome!

Hey there must be an echo in here, could have sworn u just said that twice!!

I excluded the Veilside version coz its very likely that Fujimi could release one in the future. They already have an Impreza model so they would only have to make the extra parts as in their other Veilside kits.
I like Veilside too so lets hope so!

The Gallia looks the best...in my mind I just never equate Impreza with aggressive bodykits like the ones from CWest and the Veilside...it's a purebred rally racer, shouldn't need all that aggressive styling and lowering!! Just my .02

I have to say that i agree with most of u coz i like the gialla one too! Although i cant find f**k all pics of it apart from that one and without pics the boy cant work! I may well go for the STI Electra One - wild styling but its a beast and the graphics on the side look cool!...wel i think so!

Also looking over the kit i think this conversion will end up being easier to fit for the modeler who buys it due to the way Hasegawa have molded their kit.

So this is looking very likely!!!

Due to long experience with Subaru and the Impreza, I have understood that the Bomex and the Veilside versions are the best choice for your Hasegawa WRX kit.

The reason for this is that the Hasegawa Impreza kit falls under the years of MY93 to MY96, where as from MY97 to MY01 the front facia changed a lot. The headlights have a more agressive look in the MY97 and later years, along with the grille. Also the biggest change is the hood, it has grooves rather than being completely smooth and straight. It also has a totally different hood-scoop and vents.

It will be hard to modify it to looking like the MY97 or later, but I guess you are prepared for the challange...? You'd have to modify the headlight shape, or if you choose to do the Elantra one, then you'd have to modify the spacing between the grille to fit that headlight assembly size, along with a completely scratched-built hood.

If you choose otherwise, I think the C-WEST ones are REALLY NICE! A friend of mine has one just like that! Except without all the decals and the crazy spoiler....

Argh, sorry guys.
I post that message was when I was rushing to school.
( What I learn from this, never post a message when you are in a hurry. )

By the way, the first picture you got there is quite a nice WRX too, but I still prefer VeilSide
