Non CD slave dash for '98 Suburban?
I am wondering what the factory did for non slave CD equipped vehicles. Specifically, is there a storage pocket or is there just a cover over the cavity in the dash for slave CD equipped vehicles. Thanks!

It was just a storage pocket for those trucks not equipped with the slave CD. I remember it was felt lined in my last truck. Try looking at some of the trucks for sale on ebay and you should be able to find a few pictures.

hey 98gmc-- i got a 96 with what your looking for- i would be interested in making some sort of trade or what ever-- my dash with pocket (yes it is felt lined) for yours with the cut out. would also be interested in the slave too...

I was able to find what I was looking for on ebay. I will be keeping the factory equipment in case I sell the vehicle someday. Thanks for the reply!
